Majorca is a comfortable island to travel with children, it offers a great variety for the whole family.

It is very important for Saint Michel Hotels that all children also enjoy on holidays. That is the reason why we propose 5 plans for the whole family that you can do in Majorca in winter or summer:

1. Palma Aquarium

Palma Aquarium is a big reference for family tourism. Children are very excited when they see up to 8,000 animals of 700 different species. Palma Aquarium facilities are located in Playa de Palma near to S'Arenal. There are places inside Palma Aquarium, where you can lie on the ground to observe the sharks. There are several areas where children will believe they are in the jungle or under the sea!

2. Aqua Park

When children don´t want to go to the beach, you can spend a day with them at a water park. It is a marvelous option for summer. In Majorca there is a great offer of water parks. For example, Kathmandu Park or Western Water Park in Magaluf, Aqualand in the Arenal or Hidropark located near Playas de Muro and Sa Coma. Adults and children will enjoy with water slides.

3. The Soller Train

Welcome to a walk through the last century. Get on this wooden train with your family and go through the wonderful Tramuntana mountain range. This old wooden train of Majorca has the main stations in Palma and Sóller. The train stops in different villages of the mountain and crosses 13 tunnels, bridges and overlooks where you can see valleys of olives and orange trees.

4. Boat trip to the island of Sa Dragonera

It is possible to make a boat trip daily because they depart from the jetty of Paguera to the island of Sa Dragonera every day. It is a real adventure for children because they can see dolphins in the sea. Moreover, you can enjoy a good swim in those wonderful and crystalline waters and see a lot of different species of wild animals on land.

5. Visit a traditional market

One of the most typical traditions of Majorca is the traditional markets that you can visit them along the streets of some villages once a week. For example, Cala Ratjada is on Saturday mornings, where you can find handmade products, fruits, vegetables and a lot of counters with all kinds of objects. It is wonderful walk to enjoy with the whole family.
